Publishers, Haute Doll

It is with love and sincerity that the administrators and moderators at DollyDaily.com wish Marlene and Karen the best of luck in all of their future endeavors. The fashion doll collecting community would have not been (and will not be) the same without them. Their contributions to this hobby have enormous and beyond compare. We looked forward to every issue: first Barbie Bazaar and then HauteDoll. Marlene and Karen, thank you for sharing your vision with the world. There are so many doll companies that many of us would never have discovered if not for your enthusiasm and dedication to bring these dolls to our attention, photograph them so beautifully, and write about them so lovingly.

We look to the future and hope that Doll Reader magazine will honor Marlene and Karen by giving us some crazy-cool fashion doll coverage -- the kind of coverage that we've come to expect in a magazine like HauteDoll.

Brides of Dracula: The Contessa

DollyDaily.com member JennFL has received "The Contessa," the first doll in the Brides of Dracula series from a partnership between Ashton-Drake Galleries and Integrity Toys. JennFL has been kind enough to post a wonderful review of the doll in the DollyDaily Community. Please stop by and check it out.

In the review, JennFL has nicely photographed the fine details of the doll (including her new body). JennFL also mentions where to purchase the doll in case you fall for her just as much as she has.

New 2010 Spring/Summer Trico* fashions have been released

Check out the BIC website. They've got the new 2010 Spring / Summer Trico fashion separates listed as well as two sets that assemble a few of the separates into a complete fashion at a slight discount.

Also, whatever's not listed in the photo already will be up in about 10 days. The items are not due until August so this is just a pre-order. Most of last year's collection sold out at pre-order, so if you like anything it's probably best to get it on order.

There are so many cute items in this collection.

Of course, we've got a discussion going on in the DollyDaily Community about this collection.
