Holiday raffles

"Wild Wolf" Kumi has arrived, and WOW!

My Nu.Fantasy collection "Wild Wolf" Kumi arrived yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! She's simply amazing. Earlier this year when "Little Red Riding Hood" Yuri arrived I felt the same way. The Integrity team was saving their best for this collection. Both dolls are so gorgeous and sophisticated. Within 10 minutes of receiving they were deboxed (can't believe I even waited that long). I think what drew me to the collection were the collaborations with Momolita (Yuri) and LoveSound (Kumi). I applaud Integrity and Jason Wu for recognizing these two designers from Japan with these beautiful dolls. They are true stand-outs.

If these two dolls are any indication of what's to come in the Nu.Fantasy collection, a collection based on a fairytale theme, then I am doomed.

Fashion show from "How To Marry A Millionaire"

Here's another film in this month's pic-to-poster contest. This is a fantastic fashion sequence in "How To Marry A Millionaire." Here you see Marilyn Monroe model the famous swimsuit that came as part of the Marilyn Monroe gift set from Mattel.

The fashion show from "The Women"

One of the films for October's pic-to-poster photo contest is "The Women." The entire film is in black and white with the exception of the fashion show which serves to highlight the glamour and importance of fashion. Here is the sequence in all it's glory.

Hi, guys. Finally have a minute to sit down. I hope you've been enjoying the lightning fast pics live from "The Heist." Better pics and lots of commentary can be found in the Dolly Daily community. On my way to Pittsburgh

I'm on my way to Pittsburgh, PA for the 2008 Fashion Royalty
convention. My flight had an emergency landing and got diverted to
Las Vegas, then it got cancelled. So now I'm stuck in Vegas for 6
hours until my new flight, on a different airline, departs.

Since I have plenty of time until my flight I thought I'd show you
some of the slot machines on the Vegas airport. My next report will,
hopefully, be from Pittsburgh.

Integrity Toys announces Katy Perry doll

Yesterday, Integrity Toys announced they're producing a limited edition Katy Perry 12 inch doll. Perry fans and doll collectors will remember her "U.R. So Gay" music video that featured several of Integrity Toys Fashion Royalty dolls. Well, now they're honoring her with a doll in her very own likeness. Billboard.biz says that Integrity Toys will make 500 Katy dolls, and of that 150 will go to those within the music industry and media. The Kate Perry doll will retail for $49.99 and will come outfitted in her gold dress that she made famous in her "I kissed a girl" music video.

New Gothic Dream Misaki Collection - Pictures Released

Here are the three new Misakis whose pictures have just been posted. I am using the manufacturer's images as I don't plan to buy these dolls. The prices have not been specified but you can bet they won't be "pink label" prices. 

I'm not sure if the first, "The Outsider Misaki," one is a boy. I'm sure there are many who would love that idea! Pure Evil Misaki is dressed is a gorgeous ringmaster ensemble. Witchie Witch is riding on a broom wearing a witch hat. 

They are all amazingly outfitted and the exciting styling of the original Misaki dolls is back. Bravo Nippon!
