2014 IFDC and JAMIEshow

JAMIEshow attended the 2014 International Fashion Doll Convention and debuted not one but two special releases at their breakout Gene Marshall event.  "Cool Breeze in Vegas" Oona thrilled attendees in an edition of 100 and a retail price of $425.  Oona shares the Violet head sculpt and features violet eyes, a blonde wig cap, a navy and white dress with red pocketbook and heels, and a lovely red and white scarf.  Oona is a bit of a mystery woman.  She was introduced into Gene's world during the Integrity Toys years and only make two appearances, one as a special competition doll that was extremely limited and then again later as part of the final Integrity Gene convention collection.  Who is this bewitching character?  What's her story?

The other doll announced is Marlena in the likeness of Marlene Dietrich.  She is a limited edition of 50 dolls and retailed for $475.  She wears a 3-piece tuxedo and comes with a top hat.

"Evening Ingenue" Poppy Parker

2014 IFDC saw the release of the next doll in the Poppy Parker 5th Anniversary Collection.  Her name is "Evening Ingenue."

JamieShow Madra and Violet dolls

Looks like the new resin JamieShow Madra Lord and Violet Waters dolls are now shipping to eager hands. Madra, limited to 150, and Violet, limited to 50, went on sale a couple of month ago to Gene Collectors who are excited to see their favorite girl and her friends (and frenemies) back in the limelight.  As of this post, Madra is still available via the JamieShow website, but Violet did sell out the initial weekend of release.  Don't wait too much longer or Madra will be gone too.

JamieShow has also announced a special limited edition to debut at this year's IFDC taking place in Las Vegas, NV in a few weeks.  For more registration and information regarding IFDC please click on this link.

Integrity Toys debuts "Back to Black" Natalia as official IFDC Convention doll

Last night, at the IFDC (International Fashion Doll Convention), Integrity Toys debuted "Back to Black" Natalia Fatale as the official convention doll. Collectors were wow'd by her glamour and sophistication. Conventioneers received 1 doll and had the opportunity to purchase up to 2 more.

I love her sleek black gown with peek-a-boo asymetrical bodice. Integrity Toys managed to update the classic Cleopatra look by making her into a runway goddess.

Unlike previous years, there was no companion doll. Check out the discussion going on about IFDC and Natalia in the forum.

In other IFDC and Integrity Toys news, The AvantGuards break-out event was held during the IFDC. Our very own roving reporter, Claudia, snapped this luscious pic of the event exclusive outfit, Shockwave (ltd 100).

The outfit will be available to event attendees in November when the rest of the collection is available.  We've got a discussion going on about the AvantGuard dolls and the break-out event going on in the forum. Claudia has shared pics of the other dolls in the collection and had the opportunity to hold the dolls.
